Background:
Carole's interests have always
been with the Arts. She studied art and journalism in school and in
later years, found she was able to use her skills to write short stories and a variety of articles. It was during her 10
year Advertising career, that she began to utilize her writing skills, and
joined the Newsletter staff submitting a variety of articles for the company newsletter
. She loved being part of the creative environment and interacted with
Broadcast Production, where she was often asked to read ad copy for rough cuts
and client demos in the In-house recording studio. This is where Carole
discovered Voiceovers!
After
leaving advertising, she went on to start a publishing company, where she could
continue to write and expand her creative talents on art layout and design.
From there, she developed an interest in website design where she had the
opportunity to use her voice on several audio projects. She became
proficient in business management, sales and public relations, but she found
herself singling out what she loved most, doing Voiceovers, and pursued further
study on a Voice Acting career.
Training:
Carole trained with George Crowell, Aliso
Creek, M.J. Lallo. She has attended numerous voice acting workshops in Los
Angeles and Burbank, attended seminars with such guest speakers as Nancy Cartwright
(voice of Bart Simpson), Bob Bergen (voice of Porky Pig) and participated in
numerous voiceover exercises. After
recording her demo CD, she continues to keep her voice in shape by attending
voice classes and refresher courses always hosted by a panel of noteworthy voice
professionals, such as Dolores Diehl, Michael Bell, M.J.Lallo, James Alburger
(Author of 2 books on "The Art of Voice Acting.") Pat Fraley, and other noteables in the
business.
